Instruction:

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. If you want to use Jagua gel at home, always ensure that the skin area to be painted is clean, dry and free of grease. On oily skin areas, the ink does not adhere sufficiently well, so that disinfecting the skin is advisable prior to use. We recommend a skin peeling before using the Jagua Gel.
  2. Use the product with extreme caution to prevent spots and splashes.
  3. In case you slip when painting or paint a line too thick, you can correct such small mistakes with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol. Make corrections immediately because the Jagua gel is particularly quickly absorbed into the skin.
  4. When painting the skin with Jagua gel, we recommend wearing disposable gloves!

Styp-by-step tutorial for painting a Jagua tattoo

✔ PREPARATION

Ensure that the Jagua gel bottle is firmly closed and then shake it well.

❊ DESIGN

If you already have a tattoo idea in mind, you can immediately start painting the skin. After shaking, the Jagua Gel is ready for use and can be applied using fine needles.

✍ PAINTING THE TATTOO

The fine dosing needle in the bottle top allows for the painting of particularly delicate patterns. You can vary the fineness of the pattern pressure on the bottle. If you exert a lot of pressure, a larger portion of Jagua gel is applied on the skin.

☀ DRY & WASH

Once applied, the Jagua tattoo must dry in the air for 2 to 3 hours.
After drying, the excess gel can be rinsed with lukewarm water. Simply keep the painted skin area under running water for about 30 seconds and and rub the excess gel off. It is very important to keep any remaining Jagua from transferring to clothing or other parts of the body.

⌚ WAIT

Don’t panic! After washing, the tattoo will be only faintly visible. Do not worry, within the next 24 hours the color will develop into a dark blue to black tattoo. After 48 hours, the Jagua gel takes on an intense color.

☺ DURABILITY

The Jagua tattoo usually lasts 7 days, with good care even it even lasts 14 days.

If you want to prolong the durability of the Jagua tattoo:
Avoid contact with care products which contain chemical additives. Chlorine, salt water, detergent and alcoholic products can also fade the color more quickly. After contact with water, we recommend to let the tattooed skin area dry in the air (do not rub dry)! Rub the tattoo regularly with argan oil or coconut oil, particularly before contact with water.

STORAGE

We recommend storing the Jagua Gel in the freezer. As long as it kept frozen the stain should be good for up to 4 month. If you want to use the Jagua, simply leave it outside the freezer for about 30 minutes. After using it put it back in to the freezer.
