MyJagua Gel Instructions

  1. If you apply MyJagua Gel yourself, make sure that the skin surface to be tatooed is clean. The colour will not adhere well to oily skin. To ensure this, you should exfoliate the skin at least 24 hours before and clean the skin thoroughly before application.
  2. When applying MyJagua Gel, be careful to avoid stains and splashes. To protect your hands from possible discolouration, we recommend wearing disposable gloves.
  3. MyJagua Gel absorbs very quickly into the skin. To ensure that your desired design looks exactly as you imagined it, we recommend that you use a stencil or sketch out your tattoo with tattoo paper. The Jagua tattoo cannot be corrected afterwards.

βœ” PREPARATION Check that the applicator bottle with the MyJagua gel is tightly closed and then tap it well. ❊ DESIGN After the applicator bottle has been tapped well, the MyJagua Gel is ready to use. Once you know what you want your design to look like and have created the appropriate template, you can immediately start painting the skin. The MyJagua Gel is easy to apply using the appropriate applicator attachment. ✍ PAINTING A TATTOO The blue applicator is suitable for most designs. We also recommend beginners to use this one. Depending on how much pressure you apply to the bottle, the line thickness will vary. The more pressure, the more Jagua Gel will be applied to the skin and the line will be thicker. If you want to create particularly delicate patterns or do shading, switch to the finer, yellow attachment after a little practice. The purple attachment is for filling in motifs or painting large tattoos. β˜€ DRY AND WASH OFF The Jagua Tattoo must be left to air dry for 15-30 minutes after application. After a further 2-3 hours, the gel should be washed off completely with lukewarm water. To do this, simply hold the painted skin area under running water for about 30 seconds and rub it off. No colour residue should remain! ⌚ COLOUR DEVELOPMENT After washing off, the tattoo may only be faintly visible. The colour is light grey to light blue. Over the next few hours, the colour changes and becomes darker and darker. After 12 to 24 hours, the Jagua tattoo is then intensely dark blue to black. DURABILITY The Jagua tattoo usually lasts seven days, or 14 days if well cared for. This is how you prolong the life of your Jagua tattoo: Avoid contact with care products that contain chemical ingredients. Chlorine, salt water, detergents and alcoholic products will also fade the colour faster. After contact with water, we recommend letting the painted skin area air dry (do not rub dry)! Protect your tattoo by regularly nourishing it with argan oil – especially from contact with water. Note: Store Jagua Gel in the freezer for maximum shelf life! At -12 – -18Β°C the gel will keep for three to four months. COMPOSITION Jenipapo Fruit Extract, Alcohol Denat , Xanthan Gum , Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbet, Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Limonene, Linalool. ALLERGY NOTICE Our products are carefully selected. However, there is always the possibility of a contact allergy. To test this, it is best to apply a small amount of product to the crook of the arm and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. If there is no reaction after 48 hours, you can apply the gel. Tip: To avoid skin irritation, we recommend that you do not redraw the tattoos. Allow the skin to regenerate for 1-2 weeks before painting the area again.
